Endineering at
As part of its commitment towards sustainability and circular economy, Logitech have engaged Joe Macleod, to raise awareness about designing for the end of the consumer experience.
Towards Endineering
Many businesses design rich, emotional and meaningful experiences to on-board the consumer with persuasive advertising and marketing. In contrast, the off-boarding of a consumer experience is barren of emotion and meaning. This sacrifices consumer action, holds back engagement; limiting reflection and responsibility.
This issue particularly impacts our ability to create complete circularity. Where businesses can create strategies around better materials, manufacturing and distribution, few businesses have that influence at the end. Designing for consumer off-boarding experiences - Endineering, builds in that influence.
Logitech and endings.
This engagement is to raise awareness of endings in the consumer lifecycle, increase skills for Logitech employees in designing for consumer off-boarding. Doing this we aim to increase insights and innovation around our circularity and sustainability strategies.
